Ghana to Experience Another Eclipse in November

Ghana: According to the Ghana Association of Science and Technology (GAST), Ghana will on November 13, this year, experience another solar eclipse.
Confirming it on Peace FM, Mr Frimpong Manso, General Secretary of GAST explained that, unlike what happened in 2006, the upcoming eclipse would be a “hybrid” (partial brightness and partial darkness).
“The northern sector was going to experience the eclipse at 12:45 GMT while the southern sector’s own was going to occur at 14:40 GMT.This time around, the eclipse is going to last longer”
He revealed that, GAST was arranging with its parnters in the US to distribute googles to schoolchildren to safely view the rare occurrence.
