Reports reaching us from some of the Colleges of Education has it that, some officials of the TEACHER TRAINEES ASSOCIATION OF GHANA ( TTAG ) are using their positions to dupe their colleagues in their respective colleges of the famous epayslips codes that are in circulation in the country.
TTAG, which has been in critical moments within this academic year in review, ranging from government's decision to scrap off Trainees' allowances to the permanent stop of level 300 students allowances after JUNE, through to the high increase in their tuition fees, has not been able to battle out issues to help solve any of theSe so called problems.
Just as it's always alleged, that government officials do use their positions for their personal interests, one may forget that the immediate people behind us are the worst of all and that corruption is eating deep into the society.
According to sources, the National secretary of TTAG, who also doubles as the SRC secretary of FOSU COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (FOSCO ),in the person of OBBOH MARK AUGUSTINE is being alleged to have been involved into illegal sales of the epayslips code to his colleagues at a cost of GHC 5 per student.
When he was been consulted by
some of his colleagues on why his intention to dupe them, he explained with authority, that no one can do him anything, and no student could carry him on for no reason.
These are the new crop of leaders dominating our society and such leaders will grow to join the national crop of CORRUPT leaders.
When TTAG is facing problems at this stage, some of the leaders are using the opportunity for their gains.
TTAG needs to bring the National secretary and all those involved to other before the name of this association which has been upheld in high esteem will be sent to the mud by some corrupt leaders who knew nothing about the history of this Association.
According to some of the students, they Will take the laws into their own hands if nothing is done about it.
I shall continue to get to the root of this issue and update my cherished readers.............
Inserted is the picture of OBBOH MARK AUGUSTINE . TTAG NATIONAL SECRETARY.
