Shata Wale WARNS Charter House for "FAIR DEAL" at VGMA 2014

THE SELF-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale, who composed a song to verbally attack Charterhouse, the organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) for not winning the Dance Hall Song of the Year last year, has warned that he will not take things lightly if this year's awards slated for May 3 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) is manipulated.

Shatta Wale, who warned Charterhouse in his latest released single titled 'Another Letter', said his huge fans were going to vote for him to pick a lot of awards, this year.

He added that Charterhouse should not try to steal or manipulate his votes this time 'because everyone knows who run the game. So remember you can't stop the fame. My little advice to them all is to treat all artistes equally.'

Shatta Wale has been tipped to win the Artiste of the Year Award at this year's event, even though there are some key contenders for the same category. Shatta Wale is at the top of the pack with six nominations, also coming in close are Sarkodie and Guru with five nominations each.

It would be recalled that last year, Shatta Wale failed to win the Dance Hall Artiste of the Year won by Kaakie.

News making waves in the Ghanaian media has it that Ameyaw Debra of Ameyawdebra.com hasn't been writing stories about Shata Wale in rescent times.

Ameyaw Debra on saturday afternoon  cleared the air via phone when being questioned  by Samuel Baah of Flex news paper during his FLEX ON PLUZZ show on pluzz fm.

It all happened when the topic for discussion was about BLOGGERS BEING DISRESPECTED BY GHANAIAN CELEBRITIES.

According to  Ameyaw Debra,he hasn't encountered any problem with any celebrity, apart from an incident when Shata Wale's management called to stop him from writing about the said artiste because of a said Publication which involved Shata and Samini,
during the Guiness Big Eruption Concert held at the end of last year.

He ended up by saying  categorically, that Shata's management even warned him that if he values his life,he should never write about shata wale again.

Shatta Wale, Samini To Smoke Peace Pipe

Very soon, self- acclaimed African.Dancehall King, Saminiand self-acclaimed Ghanaian Dancehall
King Shatta Wale who have been at
loggerheads with each other for some time now, will patch up
their differences.
The two agreed on Kwasi Aboagye's 'Entertainment Review' on Peace FM last Saturday to throw behind
them all ills that had caused hate and rancor between them in pursuit of their trade as musicians.
In an initial statement in the said interview, Samini had however disclosed that he didn't know Shatta Wale from anywhere. “Some time ago, I heard him say he was
my friend and he grew up with me. That's a lie. I don't know him. It was
Obuor who first introduced him to me, telling me here is another talented guy.
That's the first time I saw Shatta wale,” he said. “I later discovered that, he was talented, so even on my First Tour in Ghana I even put him on the bill. I don't know what I've really donevto that boy insulting me everywhere, saying “suck your mother,” “p**sy Samini,” he added.
Even His Manager, “Bulldog” was my close friend but of late because of all these, Bulldog pretends I'm his enemy. Sometime ago, I heard Shatta Wale claim I stopped some organizers from putting him Shatta
Wale on shows and I organized some people to beat him up in London. These are all lies,” Samini noted. Samini, worried by the bad blood between him and Shatta Wale, called for reconciliation: “If you like, invite the two of us Samini
and Shatta Wale on this radio station so we can put all these to rest.
When asked about his take on the reconciliatory move by Samini, Shatta Wale who spoke via phone on the same show replied, “what
Samini is talking about is exactly what I have been wishing for all this while.
I'm always available, as far as this is concerned. I am ready to sit with him so we settle all our differences.
